In "What to do in free time" of today we see the visit to the Fort of the Peak (Forte do Pico), located in Jurujuba, city of Niterói - RJ. This fort is an extension of Fort St. Luis (São Luiz) and has its access by the Fort Baron of Rio Branco. It was finished in 1918. Marshal Hermes da Fonseca was the one who had started the works. He built a more modern fortification, located on the highest part of the terrain. It was incorporated to the Fort Baron of Rio Branco in 1938. It has four 150mm cannons. Today, the fort is under the jurisdiction of the 21st Campaign Artillery Group.
