Sometimes the best trips aren’t about how far you go… but how far off the map you’re willing to get. In this two part series, we’re heading deep into extreme Northern California, chasing dirt trails, deep canyons, high ridgelines, and big views through the heart of the Six Rivers National Forest. Along the way, we drop down to the Eel River to check out an absolutely stunning riverside camp, before climbing back up to a remote mountain ridgetop where the land falls away and the Pacific Ocean stretches out to the west. I’m not rolling solo on this one either.
