Swiss Road Trip

In today’s episode of European travels in our camper van we arrive in the beautiful town of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. We take four cable cars to Schilthorn, where On Her Majesty’s Secret Service was filmed and visit the James Bond experience Spy World. We visit the revolving restaurant at Piz Gloria, then do the Thrill Walk at Birg. Further down we visit the picturesque village of Mürren, pass the amazing Via Ferrata Nepal bridge and then walk back down the valley from Stechelberg. The next day we walk from our camp to Trümmelbach Falls where we catch the lift to view the 10 waterfalls within the mountain. Day three we walk to the head of the valley to admire some of the 72 waterfalls in the valley. We call at a cafe and share a freshly baked muffin with a gorgeous little great tit. We had to hide in the van on day four due to torrential rain but on day five we were back out with a walk up the steep hill to Wengen.
