Overland to Denmark

Hello and welcome back to the channel of our European travels in our VW camper van. In this video you join us on our way towards Denmark. We call off at Giethoorn in the Netherlands and end up staying for two nights in the aire. It’s a lovely little town, nicknamed the Venice of the North, renown for its canals. You can walk the streets or take a sightseeing boat, you can even hire a boat but be warned, this is very popular and can lead to collisions and hilarity!!! Next stop was Parkeerplaats Nieuwe Statenzijl for a quick overnight we had been recommended by our friend Rob. It was right up our street with a super coffee cart, Bakje Doen, and one of our Google pins, De Kiekkaaste, a beautiful bird hide within walking distance. We indulged in coffee and pie and in the evening we were treated to a fantastic 30 minute murmuration at the bird hide. If you have any questions please feel free to ask us.
