Here is my first 60fps HD video, and also my first logo compilation; which consists of those logos that belong to the Walt Disney (Black Diamond) Classics video series which ran for 10 years (1984-1994) and is known as the first video releases of many of the Disney animated feature films (the 1940's package features ["Fun and Fancy Free", "Make Mine Music" etc.] plus "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and "The Three Caballeros" were never released in this line) NOTE: If you intend to watch in 60fps, turn the quality settings for this video on to either 720p60 or 1080p60. Here are the following: 1984 "Cheesy Diamond" Walt Disney Home Video THE CLASSICS 1) Extended version, seen on the preview sales tape of the initial Classics release of "Robin Hood" (as seen here: • 1984 Disney Robin Hood Dealer Sales and Pr... ) 2) Regular version (1984-1987, 1988); seen on almost all releases during this period with some exceptions; see #3 and #4 3) Variant: freeze frame for 10 seconds after the logo ends, then fades out. Seen on the 1986 VHS releases of "Pinocchio" (re-release/re-print) and "Alice in Wonderland" (later pre-1988 print) as well as the 1987 LaserDisc of Sleeping Beauty. 4) Variant: abruptly fades in and out, thus making the logo slightly shorter. From the 1987 VHS of "The Sword in the Stone" and the 1988 VHS of "Alice in Wonderland" 1988/1989/1992 "Sorcerer Mickey" Walt Disney CLASSICS 5) 1988 Prototype logo; first seen on the 1988 video release of "Cinderella", later used on the 1991/1992 VHS of "Robin Hood" and the laserdisc of "The Rescuers" 6) 1989 Logo; this particular logo is common as it was seen from the 1989 video release of "Bambi" all the way to the early prints of the 1992 VHS of "101 Dalmatians"; surprisingly though it was seen on early prints of the 1996 VHS of "Pocahontas" despite that film was a "Masterpiece" release. 7) 1989 Logo; variation: cut-short version with narration: "Look for these animated Disney Classics on videocassette!" Seen on the 1991 VHS releases of "Robin Hood" and "The Brave Little Toaster". 8) 1989 Logo; variation: cut-short, without narration. Seen only on the 1991 VHS of "Robin Hood". (Both #7 and #8 as seen here: • Видео ) 9) 1989 Logo; variation: cut-short [even moreso than on the 1991 "Robin Hood" video], with narration: "Don't miss this timeless Disney Classic from Walt Disney Home Video!" 10) 1992 Logo; with the jingle from the 1989 logo. Seen on the 1992 VHS releases on "101 Dalmatians" and "The Great Mouse Detective". At this point, the logo would only be available on VHS with some exceptions; particularly "Aladdin" and "The Great Mouse Detective" LaserDisc releases, however those releases have the 1989 logo instead. 11) 1992 Logo; with bass heavy enhancement/"remastering" of the 1989 audio. Stereo version seen and heard on the 1992 VHS of "Beauty and the Beast", and the 1993 VHS releases of "Pinocchio" and "Aladdin", while a mono sound version is used on the 1992 VHS of "The Rescuers" and the 1994 VHS of "The Fox and the Hound" 12) 1992 Logo; variation: cut-short with bass heavy jingle and narration: "From Walt Disney Home Video...!" Seen on the United Kingdom releases of "Goofy's All Star Olympics" among others (as seen here: • Digitized opening to Goofy's All Star Olym... ) 13) 1992 Logo; PAL-pitched, seen on the 2003 VHS [United Kingdom] of "Pinocchio - Special Edition" (as seen here: • Digitized opening to Pinocchio Special Edi... ) Sources for other videos credit goes to: eyeh8nbc, Jordan Rios, and LogoNerd.
