A low budget recipe with high nutrition and taste. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #DigitalAmmi #BudgetRecipe #watermelonrindrecipe #zerowaste Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3HhOOKH Serves 4-5 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Tarbooz (Watermelon) quarter piece -Cooking oil 3-4 tbs -Rai dana (Mustard seeds) ½ tsp -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp -Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium -Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) crushed ½ tbs -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Garam masala powder ¼ tsp -Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 & ½ tsp -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp -Amchor powder (Dried mango powder) 1 tsp -Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: -Cut watermelon,remove red part & peel watermelon rind with the help of peeler. -Cut into small cubes & set aside (approx. 1 kg). -In a pot,add cooking oil,mustard seeds,cumin seeds & mix well. -Add onion & fry until light golden. -Add watermelon rind cubes & mix well. -Add ginger garlic crushed,red chilli powder,salt,garam masala powder,cumin powder,coriander seeds,turmeric powder,red chilli crushed,mix well & cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes,cover & cook on low flame until tender (30-35 minutes) then cook on high flame until oil separates. -You can also mash the rind cubes as per your liking. -Add dried mango powder & mix well. -Add green chillies,fresh coriander,cover & simmer on low flame for 1-2 minutes. -Garnish with fresh coriander & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Tarbooz (Watermelon) quarter piece -Cooking oil 3-4 tbs -Rai dana (Mustard seeds) ½ tsp -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp -Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 medium -Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) crushed ½ tbs -Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Garam masala powder ¼ tsp -Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp -Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 & ½ tsp -Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp -Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp -Amchor powder (Dried mango powder) 1 tsp -Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4 -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: -Tarbooz ko cut ker ka red part ko nikal lein aur tarbooz ka chilke ko peeler ki madad sa peel ker lein. -Small cubes mein cut ker ka side per rakh dein (approx. 1 kg). -Pot mein cooking oil,rai dana aur zeera dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Pyaz dal dein aur light golden ho janay tak fry ker lein. -Tarbooz ka rind cubes dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Adrak lehsan crushed,lal mirch powder,namak,garam masala powder,zeera powder,sabut dhania,haldi powder aur lal mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein aur dhak ker halki ancch per gul janay tak paka lein (30-35 minutes) phir tez ancch per oil alag ho janay tak paka lein. -Amchor powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Hari mirchein aur hara dhania dal ker dhak dein aur halki ancch per 1-2 minute kliya dum per rakh dein. -Hara dhania dal ker serve karein!
