With Fleetwood tech support guidance I reprogrammed my slide out control and got us going on our trip. The slide continues to function normally as before the malfunction. Email me at rverfrank@gmail.com and I will send you back the tech manuals for the slide and Hyd Jack if/when you need them; -PwrGear3010001343 Install & Service, Sync Room Slideout System -PwrGear3010002588 Slim Rack Installation and Service Manual In Wall -PwrGear3010002679 Control Box -PwrGear82-L0140-00 Hyd jack manual. BTW, the only "manual" method to retract the slide is via the control panel pin switches, sore fingers and all, lol. CAUTION-Please do not hit the reset pin switch unless you must because you will wipe the controller programming for the slide limits (in/out) and then have to reprogram the out/in limits which is a real pain (in the finger tips). As well there is the potential of your finger tips getting numb and the lack of feeling of the pin switch depression, thus while performing the slide movement via the motor pin switches, one switch may be relived of pressure while the other is fully depressed while running. This will cause the slide to mis-align (out of sync with each side) because one motor is running and the other has stopped. Wearing a rubber tipped garden glove will aid in depressing the pin switch with enough force to help this from happening. Performing this reprogramming operation you will find you have too many fingers, but none are in the right orientation and very awkward to hold for the slow slide movement in/out. In this case an extra set of hands may be useful. The only cause I can think of which may have resulted in the fault would have been my holding, as every time before, the slide OUT button in until the slide reached the out limit on its own thus shutting off power to the slide. During that particular time I may have heard a "different" groan sound just before the slide out stopped on its own. In any case, now just before the slides reach the "out or in" stop point, I bump them to seat the slide the last inch or so, so the motors are not forced until the system powers them off, thus avoiding any potential power fluctuation which may cause a fault recurrence. Fleetwood tech support sent me a pdf data spec sheet on the Power Gear Slim Rack Wall Slide Out System.
