A: This is definitely a preference in playstyle. Unless you run Support Ahri (use Glacial), I would definitely try out both and see what's most comfortable on how you play in the mid lane. Q: Why do you max E (Charm) instead of W (Foxfire) second? A: Charm increases in crowd control duration starting from Level 1 -1.4 seconds to Level 5, 2 seconds. This makes it so that during the mid game if you catch out a strong carry or a high priority target, your team will have a longer window to follow up and win more mid game fights to propel you into winning faster.
