NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black Playlist:    • NINJA GAIDEN 2 Black   This has got to be one of the most metal stages in all of gaming. It's also one of the hardest ones in this game, I think. Even with the drastically reduced enemy count, the imps are always annoying to deal with, and there are some relatively long stretches between save points. You have to be careful when making your way up the staircase, because even though you only have to deal with white ninjas, they become very dangerous when they lose a limb - and that happens pretty easily because they're weak. I died several times because I landed right next to a guy who kamikaze'd me for 80% of my health bar. They do not mess around. And then you have to deal with Elizebet, who's probably the trickiest boss in the game. Some weapons are very good against her, like the Falcon Talons and kusari-gama, but she doesn't give you many opportunities to inflict damage. The only somewhat reliable way to consistently hit her is to time a hit just as she's starting her attack animation. You get used to it after practicing a bit, and I especially like the Dragon Sword for that because it has good counter-attack options for her followups, but I used the Talons here because they're pretty simple to use on her, and I couldn't remember if I already used them in this chapter. So when you actually land a shot on Elizebet, she only lets you get 3 hits in, so you can take advantage of this by doing two single hit attacks, and then going for the Talons' flying teleport kick combo. It does good damage, and it's easy to hit confirm.
