Leading space thinkers and practitioners will highlight the evolving criticality of both military and commercial space based capabilities to the effective delivery of air power. The session will examine how the dual nature of space lends itself both to the increasing commercialisation and in parallel the militarisation of this strategic domain. It will also consider how capabilities in space can be utilised increasingly for the common good, in addressing some of the existential challenges to our species and our planet. And equally important, the session will consider how emerging technologies might offer the solutions to some of the key challenges facing our Air and Space Forces.
