Welcome to my Race Strategy Guide for Daily Race C 26/12/22 around Daytona Road Course on Gran Turismo 7 This Daily Race features Gr.4 cars around Daytona Road Course with mandatory Racing Hard Tyres. BoP - ON Laps - 10 Tyres - X3 Fuel - X2 STRATEGY TLDR; No Strategy required, no fuel saving or pit stops. It’s a full on sprint race. The car I will be using for this Race: Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 The Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 is my personal choice out of the Gr.4 4WD cars, my advice for this race would be to choose which ever 4WD Gr.4 car that suits your driving style. The Nissan and Subaru will be both good choices but I believe the Alfa and the Nissan GTR will be the strongest for this track. Daytona Road Course is a pretty easy track, its long straights make for some interesting strategies with slip streaming. All of the Gr.4 4WD cars will handle the infield section really well because you can brake a little bit later and get on the power super early. Consistency and pace will win you races around this track and car combination so make sure you get some practice in and put down a decent qualifying lap so you’re starting near the front, ideally tho starting in P1 might not be a good idea due to slip streaming, you will have to play some mind games and out smart other drivers so you can cross the line first. I also believe they have fixed the corner cutting rules for the bus stop on the back straight, I was able to cut the exit a little bit more than normal without getting a penalty but I would still be careful and cut the kerb too much. I did a custom race with the same settings as the Daily Race for testing reasons and to get a clean race without being hit off. I have the Traction Control set to level 0 for this Video but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. I also show my steering and pedal inputs via a couple of cameras to show my inputs if that interests you.
