The Inspector-General of Water Compliance maintains a team of five Field Officers who live and work in the Basin. Field officers act as a conduit between the Basin community and the Inspector-General. Responsibilities of a Field Officer include, but are not limited to: 💧 Providing support to the Inspector-General during engagement activities 💧 Assessing stakeholder concerns and directing them to the relevant agency 💧 Gathering on-ground intelligence to inform the Inspector-General of concerns relating to trust and confidence 💧 Assisting stakeholders navigating complex water information 💧 Working with and liaising across Australian Government and state agencies on matters relating to the Inspector-General 📍 They are based in locations across the Basin at Goondiwindi, Dubbo, Albury, Mildura and Loxton, and over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing some of the faces of the Field Operations team to our LinkedIn community. 📞 You can contact your local Field Officer by calling 13 IGWC (13 44 92) hashtag#watercompliance hashtag#murraydarlingbasin hashtag#mdb hashtag#IGWC hashtag#communityengagement
