This video takes you along on a traditional grape harvest in my father-in-law’s vineyard and orchard, more than 300 km away from Bucharest. We began the harvest with the white grapes, carefully picking row after row and loading the buckets until they were full. Later, it was time for the red grapes — heavier, destined for a deeper, richer wine. During the day, I’ll also give you a look at the orchard and the vegetable garden that surround the vineyard, places full of life and memories. As the sun went down, the reward was a glass of homemade red wine — a taste of tradition and family effort. 🍷 The next morning, we gathered again, this time around the old wine press, to crush the grapes and start their transformation into wine. My father-in-law, now in his mid-70s, still works tirelessly, proving that real passion doesn’t age. I was grateful to help, even if just for a couple of days, and I know I’ll always come back here with joy.
