Skirt the edges of downtown Nelson, BC, Canada on a 4K virtual walk from Vernon St. to Victoria St.!

Part 3: Picking up where we left off on the Crowsnest Highway (#3), our walk takes up along Vernon Street past the mural of Steve Martin in ‘Roxanne’ (which was filmed here back in the last century), the famous Hume Hotel, the Nelson Museum, the courthouse, City Hall & the Civic Theatre, before we loop around Baker Street to Victoria Street, where we pass the old and new locations of the infamous Oso Negro, followed by the 426-seat Capitol Theatre, the public library (which sits bizarrely under the cop shop), the taco place, the pizza palace & the lovely Victoria Falls Guest House:) We recorded these videos on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of Sinixt Peoples. We make this acknowledgment to show our respect for the tmxʷulaʔxʷ (homeland), and Sinixt Nation. We feel privileged and grateful to be here, and we invite those reading this to explore their own relationship to place.
