In this panel, Jeffrey Cheen, Jake Holmes, and Christos Sotiros reveal how the landscape has shifted – and the ways it will continue to do so. Jeffrey is the co-founder and chief of coffee at Groundwork Coffee Co, a certified organic coffee roasting company with roasteries and cafes across California and Oregon. Having worked in specialty coffee for nearly 30 years, he was among the first people in the world to be certified as a Q grader. Jake is the managing director of Mission Coffee Works, a London-based roastery which, in just a few years, has grown from a small street van to one of the UK’s most respected specialty coffee brands. Christos Sotiros is a category executive and master barista at Nestle Professional. He is responsible for building the coffee capabilities and expertise for markets across the globe and played a key role in the development of the pioneering benchtop roasting solution, Roastelier by Nescafé.
