1984 extended hood Aerodyne Peterbilt 359 with 400 Cummins Big Cam III. This truck was built to my own specifications and she has indeed been a "Grand Old Dame," providing us with decades of phenomenal service. The truck is equipped with 13 X 4 transmissions, the front transmission being a Fuller RTO 14613 and the auxiliary transmission a Spicer 1241. Both boxes are progressive, giving the truck 52 forward gears and many gearing options for almost any job required. This truck has pulled Turnpike Doubles as well as belly-dump and side-dump on thousands of construction projects throughout Alaska over the years. Complete with Super Severe Service cab, 3/8 frame rails and 44,000 LB Rockwell rear axles, the truck certainly isn't a battleship but she's built like one. In this video the truck is being taken to a hobby farm to go into retirement and be used as a toy hauler. Even at 39 years of age, the truck is an absolute dream to drive. :The raised roof of the sleeper (Coachman Classic 10 Sleeper Conversion) was purchased new and installed in 1995, I actually met the man that created the roof kits.
