Aging as fate | Márcia Tavares | TEDxLaçador

A revolution that is about all of us. This premise led Márcia to bring in a perspective that questions longevity issues, showing that seeing the limits of aging is different from submitting to them. She invites us to use abilities we have, today, to influence the longevity revolution in an innovative way. She highlights that the only alternative to avoid aging is still dying young, so she challenges, "So, are you going to be there, okay with the idea of old age from two centuries back or are you going to be brave and embrace the revolution that chose you?" Márcia Tavares is a writer, entrepreneur, management and innovation researcher in the Production Engineering Program of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and co-founder of the International Center of Longevity of Brazil.
