Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a powerful, accessible guided meditation technique that induces deep relaxation, reducing stress, anxiety, and insomnia while enhancing emotional resilience. The goal of Yoga Nidra is to stay awake during the session, but allow yourself to go into a deeply relaxed state of being. This video is an example of my 1:1 work with clients as a Yoga Therapist. Reduced Stress and Anxiety Enhanced Emotional Regulation Increased Cognitive Function Physical Relaxation and Healing Accessible Relaxation These statements are backed by peer-reviewed clinical research. Peer-reviewed means the research was evaluated by independent experts before publication. Some studies combine Yoga Nidra with other Yoga Therapy tools and, as with many studies, scientists often note that more large-scale studies are needed to confirm long-term efficacy. In my work as a Yoga Therapist, I often customize the Yoga Nidra experience to client-specific needs.
