The second leg of our trip to The Isle Of Wight started with us departing Oaksey Park, heading south to Wadswick Strip who we couldn't reach on the radio or telephone so we carried on to Wing Farm where there was a tractor mowing the runway and they seemed to be having some radio issues so we pressed on to Compton Abbas for fuel before making the delightful trip past Bournemouth and clockwise around the scenic coastline of The Isle Of Wight before landing at Sandown, pitching my tent & catching up with the rest of the "Cheshire Flyers" over a few beers before retiring to my tent for an early night before a big day exploring the south west coast and heading to Dunkeswell before embarking on our journey back home to Ashcroft which will all be in the next episode of "Let's Go Flying".
