First Introduced in the mid 90's, and as a supposed successor to PCI, the inclusion of an AGP port on motherboards meant that you could buy the latest and greatest GPU for your system. These days AGP has been succeeded with PCI-E Express and you won't find any new motherboards that incorporate the old port, meaning that AGP is all but dead. Support for these cards ended with the HD 4000 series from AMD, and although HD 5000 drivers were mentioned in notes and online, AGP variants of Radeon cards past the 4670 were never released, and so today we're going to be taking a look at where it ended and what sort of performance you can expect from the last AGP GPU ever released.
