Battlefield 6 Breakthrough Contaminated – No Teamplay, Snipers & Failed Pushes

In today’s Battlefield 6 gameplay on my channel The General Mattis, we jump into Breakthrough on the new Season 2 map Contaminated. At first, things actually look promising. Our squad manages to use smoke grenades to flank the first sector and for a short moment it feels like real Battlefield teamwork. This is exactly how this mode is supposed to be played. Coordinated pushes, smart positioning and using smoke to break through strong defenses. Unfortunately, this is where the typical Battlefield 6 problems begin to show again. Instead of supporting the push, most of our teammates stay behind, farming kills and sniping from the spawn. Breakthrough is not designed for passive play, but once again the majority of players ignore the objective. Without pressure on the enemy team, every push becomes harder and every sector takes longer than it should. By the time we reach the third sector, the momentum is completely gone. One by one our team gets worn down. No communication, no coordination, no smoke pushes. The enemy team adapts and holds strong defensive positions while our side slowly collapses. It becomes clear that the lack of teamwork is once again the biggest enemy. At one point, I manage to break through their defense using a jeep and later a tank, creating a huge opportunity to capture the sector. However, no one spawns on me. Despite opening a path and disrupting the enemy backline, the effort is wasted because the team refuses to follow. This perfectly sums up the current Battlefield 6 experience. Even when you create chances, they often mean nothing without teamwork. This video shows the frustrating reality of Battlefield 6 right now. The new map looks great visually, but the gameplay suffers from the same core issues. Lack of coordination, passive players and no objective focus. It’s another example of why the game feels less like classic Battlefield and more chaotic and inconsistent.
