Our Managing Director Stephen Gallagher met with Dr Lisa McIlvenna, Managing Director of Business In The Community to launch The Generation Green Schools Project – one of 56 projects awarded funding across the island of Ireland through the Generation Green Community Fund 🌱 Business In The Community NI is a network of businesses that are committed to being responsible. Working with 270 organisations across the province, they support 40% of the working population in NI. BITCNI works with these businesses to address societal and environmental challenges, mainly under the headings of people, planet and place. Supported by Business In The Community NI, The Generation Green Schools Project is a new initiative which will make a big impact on green jobs in the future. Schools in every council area across NI will take part to educate children in year 10 and year 11 across four different areas including carbon literacy, circular economy, energy matters, nature and biodiversity.
