Thanks!!    / @yard2yacht   Season two didn't start the way we had planned: WE'RE TAKING ON WATER! We left the comfort of Lamb's Yacht Center and immediately started having problems with our electronics. They weren't working. We thought it was a settings issue so were prepared to address it at our first stop. We were wrong. Our second, more serious problem appeared during the first engine check, we were leaking water into our engine room from two impellers that were recently changed. Not a good situation to be in. Although not currently a tremendous amount of water, if the impeller housing covers gave way it would be a nervy few minutes to get the seacocks closed and the bilges cleared. There was only one decision to make, we had to turn around and limp back to the dock. Five days later, after all repairs were made, we headed out again. Our first stop was Sister's Creek. A small public dock that allows free mooring for up to three days on the intracoastal Waterway. This beautiful location is a great jump off point on the trip south to St. Augustine.
