(27 January 2026 - Only By Grace Reflections) First Reading: 2 Samuel 6:12b-15, 17-19 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 24:7, 8, 9, 10 Alleluia: Matthew 11:25 Gospel: Mark 3:31-35 In today’s Gospel, Jesus’ mother and brothers are standing outside, asking for Him. Instead of a typical family reunion, Jesus looks at those sitting around Him and says, "Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother." Jesus isn't "unfriending" the Virgin Mary here. Rather, He is elevating the definition of family from mere genetics to something much more profound: spiritual kinship through obedience. This obedience isn't about being a robot; it’s about a relationship. Just as a branch must stay attached to the vine to grow grapes, we stay attached to Christ through our "yes." This connectedness results into a life filled with purpose, joy, and a sense of belonging that transcends our earthly circles. #CatholicFaith #DailyReflection #OnlyByGraceReflections #CouplesForChrist
