Standing Pilates for Seniors| 30 Minute workout for Strength, Coordination, Balance and Flexibility Join me for a 30 Minute Standing Pilates for Seniors workout. With exercises for balance, coordination and flexibility as well as building strength in your legs, hips and back. this class is suitable for anyone who wants a gentle standing workout. Feel free to have a chair handy for balance if you need it. I call this my active ageing session as the exercises included are for the general aches & pains in the joints and spine that come with age. There will also be gentle stretches to improve flexibility, as well as exercises to build core strength and improve posture to help with all the time we are spending sitting down during this pandemic. I'll be adding other exercises to challenge your coordination so look out for some fun exercises to work your brain as well as your body! Exercising regularly will improve both mind and body and I recommend you build up to doing your pilates workout at least twice a week. Take your time and do what you can. If anything is too challenging for you right now, don't worry, just rest and come back and try again when you're ready.
