Our Wedding Film

Today is our 1 year anniversary. I wanted to do much more than just post our film, but Liza and I are exhausted from all the festivities, plans, and busy-ness that summer brings. As a first thought, thank you so much, yet again, Oak & Pine Weddings, for filming our wedding from start to finish. In the last year, Liza and I have truly begun to sink into what it means to live life alongside a partner. I really believe we are teammates in each others corner the more and more I go through life with her. As cliche as it sounds, it truly has not been easy, but as Liza and I woke up this morning, coffee and tea in hand, walking around our garden in our backyard with our pup Forrest and our chickens running around, we reflected on the beautiful life we are building in spite of things not always being easy. Truly, marriage is worth it. A beautiful portal into a new chapter of my life exploded open over the last 365 days. If we are fortunate enough to have many years left on this earth, I can't wait to spend the rest of them with you, Liza. One day I'll be old and looking back at my Youtube with my kids and hopefully grandkids, reflecting on these words and a life hopefully well lived since this wedding day. I love you, Liza!
