Days 11 through 14 of my health journey have been honest and humbling. The scale seems to be at a standstill. No big drop. No dramatic change. And if you’ve ever tried to lose weight after 50, you know this part can test your patience. But here’s what I am focusing on. I made a goal to stick exactly to the 7-day sample meal plan, and I’ve been committed to that. No guessing. No tweaking. Just following it as written and staying consistent. I’ve also plan to increase my movement. More time on my spin bike and I’ve started adding floor work to strengthen my core muscles. Building strength matters just as much as watching the scale. My ketones have been up and down, which can be frustrating, but I’m learning that progress is not always perfectly linear. Hormones, stress, sleep, hydration — they all play a role. What hasn’t changed is my mindset. I’m still hopeful. Still positive. Still showing up. Sometimes this journey is about trusting the process even when the results aren’t immediately visible.
