By making unused vacation rental properties available to families in need, this talk shares how vacations can be supported that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children who are suffering major medical or related hardships. In turn, those who give are rewarded by seeing their gifts take a place in the life stories of families served. John is an author who has done research on why humans love to travel. He is a recognized travel authority tapped by Pacific Northwest TV and radio shows to provide his insights as a guest. He is also the founder of the Vacation Angel Network which provides free vacations to families dealing with serious illnesses.
