[Showcase Description] Another little showcase of cars in action, this time its with the F1 Formula cars over the decades on Automobilista 2. I wanted to go with a track that had lots of era suitable layouts on offer, so Silverstone was the obvious choice. Silverstone really is the quitessential F1 track, each layout is just a joy to drive with the respective car from (roughly) that era. This to me is one of AMS2's biggest strengths, it has one of the deepest rosters when it comes to historical formula 1 cars and tracks (excluding modding for games like AC of course). In this video, I do a lap in each car first, and then show a replay of the laps afterwards. The cars in this showcase are: ● Brabham BT26A from Formula Vintage Gen 2 at Silverstone 1975 No Chicane ● Brabham BT49 from Formula Retro Gen 2 at Silverstone 1975 ● McLaren MP4/6 from Fomrula Classic Gen 4 at Silverstone 1991 ● Formula V10 Gen 2 at Silverstone 2001 ● Formula Ultimate Gen 2 at Silverstone 2020 I know technically the lap of Silverstone 2020 is actually two half laps, since the start/finish line moved when the circuit went under major changes. However, I wanted the on board footage to seemlessly transition at the same position for the track layout from each era. The run up to Copse corner was the ideal choice for this.
