The Williamson Tunnels - a walkthrough tour of the house site - going down to the Sandstone Chamber

This is a video walkthrough of a section of Joseph Williamson's house site in Mason Street, Edge Hill, Liverpool. This site is in the care of The Friends of Williamson's Tunnels, FoWT, who excavated and cleared the site over several years. In this section, we have walked down from the ground floor to the basement kitchen area and then out into the sunken back yard. We are now going down a staircase that leads us down to the Sandstone Chamber which is about 20 feet below ground level. From there we will carry on down in the next video to The Gash, and finally into The Banqueting Hall below.
