This practice often reduced opportunities for fresh aspirants to secure a place in the final merit list. Under the new rule, a candidate can give only one improvement attempt while remaining in service. After that, if they wish to attempt again, they must resign from their post. This reform reduces repeated attempts by already-selected candidates and creates a fairer chance for freshers in the final selection list. Parmar Sir highlights that the same issue exists in SSC exams, where repeated attempts by selected candidates affect the chances of newcomers. If SSC adopts a similar reform, it could significantly help fresh aspirants and improve fairness in the recruitment process.
