JW Marriott Desert Spring Resort & Spa is a AAA 4 Diamond golf resort hotel & spa, located in Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley. It is in an arid desert climate, perfect to get away from the much cooler climate-wise to Los Angeles & Orange Counties during the winters, and due to the rain shadow effect, much less rain. The JW Marriott Desert Springs is located 105 miles from Disneyland, and 123 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Self Parking is $28 per day, while valet is $40 per day. The JW Marriott has 882 rooms, over 23,000 sq ft of event space, nine food & beverage outlets, and hosts two full eighteen-hole golf courses. The JW Marriott & the adjacent Marriott Vacation Club Desert Springs Villas, are built around the Valley & Palm golf courses, with the first tee-off at dusk and ends at 5 pm, with greens fees ranging from $160 to $70. They got to keep the greens nice & fresh, along with the cost of being in a destination desert setting overall. To keep everyone else busy while you are out golfing, there are the Oasis Pool & hot tubs, pick up a tennis racket with a Desert Springs Tennis Club, feel the world melt away at the Spa at Desert Springs, stay in shape at the fitness center, and play in their a hundred plus cabinet arcade.
