I never thought I would see the day. 12 years of whinging and complaining have come to an end, and Hersheypark has finally rid their controversial hypercoaster, Skyrush, of the old thigh-destroying restraints. But was this change really enough to redeem the ride, in the eyes of parkgoers, and of the park itself? Even after the update, Skyrush remains a uniquely punishing machine, one of the most intense coasters ever made. And despite the benefits of the update, no amount of train modifications will change that fact. Hershey still isn't happy. But I sure am! This is my latest elegy video, and it was a huge undertaking.
