It focuses on how to create easily understood communications that help to alleviate the stress of being summoned to court. It offers practical, actionable tips on making court communications materials that people understand, trust and use. Using a new process for the first time can be confusing, especially for self-represented litigants in today’s courts. Since RSI began the ODR Party Engagement (OPEN) Project over two years ago, we have learned a lot about the barriers that can prevent self-represented litigants from participating in ADR and ODR, and we will show you how to eliminate many of those barriers through more effective communication.
