E. Bronson Ingram College will welcome its first Vanderbilt sophomore, junior and senior residents in the fall of 2018. The new residential college is the latest addition to Vanderbilt University’s College Halls, a living learning environment that brings together students from all backgrounds with faculty heads of house and graduate student advisors to support growth and discovery beyond the classroom. The new college, made possible with the generous philanthropic support of the Ingram family, is deliberately designed to bring students together and create myriad opportunities for community and dialogue. The project is part of the university’s transformation of Nashville’s West End area and has been an economic engine of its own, supporting jobs, local subcontractors and minority and women-owned businesses.
