I bought a raw wool fleece. Now what?

Tutorial: How to Tidy Up a Raw Wool Fleece In this video, I show you my method of laying out a fleece and my approach to tidying it up prior to washing. I have discussed this process at length in other videos and shown my setup with photos on my blog, but I haven't shown a real-time example of laying out a raw wool fleece and my thought process for how to get it ready for washing. All fleeces are going to present differently when you get to the tidying and sorting phase. Since processing my first fleece in 2011, I have learned a lot about how much time to spend removing bits of vegetable matter and when to stop fussing and let the later stages of processing--like washing, carding/combing, and spinning--handle the rest of the vegetation removal. While I do try to be as straight forward as possible, it is really difficult to classify this tutorial as applicable to all fleeces.
