Intro to Canadian Silver Commemorative Dollar Coins

In this video, we look at examples of different Canadian Dollar Coins over the years, most are commemorative and silver. Some coins will bee loose and others will be in different types of proof packagins, such as mint envelopes, Double Dollar Proof Sets, or individual cases. First we look at a standard clad voyageur dollar, then a silver proof set. We look at the circulating commemoratives of the 1939 Royal Visit, 1949 Newfoundland and 1958 British Columbia. We look at the 1967 Centennial Goose Dollar plus mint medallion. We look at 50% Silver commemorative from Double Dollar sets: 1971 British Columbia, 1973 Mounted Police, 1975 Calgary, 1976 Parliament Library, 1978 Commonwealth Games, 1984 Toronto & 1991 Frontenac. I include a silver proof and gold plated 2001 Twonie. Then I finish with some clad commemoratives: 1970 Manitoba, 1973 Prince Edward Island, 1977 Silver Jubilee and 1984 Jacques Cartier.
