A mixologist who began his career mopping floors and getting paid Kshs.100 for his work at Mojito’s Bar in Roysambu, Nairobi. Day in and day out, despite the long grueling hours he didn’t quit or look for employment elsewhere because his goal was simple – to become the leading bartender and mixologist. Whilst working there, the self-taught bartender surpassed many in the field to become the man behind the bar. Bartending has an upside: not only people drink and enjoy your creations, but you also become a listening ear to your patrons' problems. Charismatic and joyful, Oscar is a brotherly friend to many customers who recommend his smooth, tasty and affordable drinks to their friends. The watering hole has been known to be a hangout for local celebrities and people from various communities.
