WALKS IN HAMPSHIRE at HOUGHTON

This is another video in my series “Walks in Hampshire” accompanied by my Whippet (Logan). In this episode I undertake a 4 mile circular route to the west of the pretty village of Houghton (located North of Romsey, just off the A3057). I start of in the village by looking at the church, the pub & a meander along the single road that passes by beautiful houses & cottages (many thatched). After a quick look at the River Test, I head West along Faithfulls Drove where I experience some stunning views of chalkland hills. The highlight of my walk is coming across a truly wonderful field that is completely full of red poppies in full flower – an amazing sight.
