Jun 28, 2022. After spending a night at Sitz Pond, I start bushwhacking east the next morning toward a slender unnamed pond to the east, with my eventual goal being Crooked Lake in the Five Ponds Wilderness of the western Adirondack Park. Moose turds, a wide stream and a small meadow are encountered along the way. This video is the first part of the second day of my trip doing volunteer work for the New York State Breeding Bird Atlas III, which takes me to places like Sitz Pond and Crooked Lake. If you enjoy this video, please click the like button and/or subscribe so you do not miss any of my newest hiking and/or bushwhacking adventures in the Five Ponds Wilderness and beyond. Note: This video is in a raw form, that is, it has only been lightly edited, annotated and/or altered. The footage remains mostly as I experienced it while bushwhacking through the Adirondack Park backcountry, just as nature intended it. Be forewarned, loud noises will arise from branches, hands, hiking poles, etc. hitting the camera.
