A quick first look at the TI CC-40, donated by @MrWaalkman. {Original unboxing here: • 🇺🇸 Delivery from @MrWaalkman (and @go4retr... } The main problem with "used" CC-40s on ebay is that, if they've had their batteries left in them, the display will usually be broken. This machine is "new-old-stock" so just works. It's a bit of an orphan machine as its proposed permanent storage system, the Wafertape, was never officially released. It has a 2x4 interface called HexBus ... naturally.
