Driveway Dudes bought a Chinese 18650 battery spot welder kit to build and test. It cost $25 to buy and ship to us. Paul assembled it as per NO instructions supplied. Luckily some obscure but accurate info was found online. Some assembly required (soldering). Tools needed for this is a soldering iron and a snips. Consumables: solder and if you have some flux. Parts missing (buzzer). We had one in our parts bin that was suitable to use. Pre manufactured holes for screws and nuts incorrectly spaced. Power supply cables way too short for purpose. Overall a very mediocre kit and not complete as per listing but cheap. We can't see that there would be any risk of injury (other than the pocket) as this is a 12V DC kit though think safety, wear gloves (forgot) and eye protection (didn't forget).
