SMALL UPDATE did some parses with degen instead of mystic orb. ability wise it's a dps loss but since you don't have to heavy attack anymore and you are near 70% magicka when u enter execute your beam is much stronger and will result in an overall dps gain. In trials still use the mystic orb as you will not run into sustain issues. Execute is a bit different though. start beaming around 30% while keeping up all your dots. at 25% drop degen, at 20% drop solar and at 15% drop purifying. Hey its me again, ESO's biggest magplar fanboy. So... I got bored 1 night and decided to test some stuff like different cp's (investing more in thaumaturge instead of master at arms) and trying out some different abilities all for the sake of trying to improve my build. On top of that I decided that it was time to transmute my perfected Siroria for dummy humping purposes to truly see what the limits are. Magplar is still in a great spot with impressive aoe and execute damage and with a spammable like puncturing sweeps it allows new players to be extremely survivable without having to alter their build for it. As usual i will explain my rotation: START: channeled focus-trap ~swap meteor-PL ~ swap shard-wall-mystic orb ~swap solarbarrage-1xsweeps-PL-4xsweeps. 2 line static rotation: 1. Shard-wall-mystic orb ~swap PL ~swap trap ~swap solarbarrage ~swap channeled focus ~swap 2x sweeps- PL. 2. Shard-wall-mystic orb-sweep ultimate ~swap solarbarrage-PL-4x sweeps. (for those who used the rotation from the previous video it will be very familiar. All that was changed is i added channeled focus into the rotation at the cost of 1 spammable in first line of the rotation) Visual of the rotation: https://imgur.com/a/G39nU6N You will have to heavy attack atleast twice if u use mystic orb on the dummy so do it in the rotation u cast cresent sweep and remove 1 spammable that rotation, it will perfectly line up with offbalance for double resources. Alternatively use an absorb mag enchant at the cost of a little bit of dps. (1k) On execute around 30% and below keep up all your dots except solarbarrage and start beaming. Around 20% stop casting mystic orb and only keep up shard,wall,trap,PL and beam. When u reach 10% only keep shard-wall-trap and beam up. For those wondering if i will use Siroria in content, in most cases no. Although there's plenty of bosses that are stack and burn, perfected falsegod will always be my go to set. It's true dummy parses only prove how hard you can hit the dummy. But they are great for testing and practicing purposes. FG+MS+Zaan is the most used setup. The reason is simple it's has the highest damage output for me and probably for you too. Master architect was used in vSS HM because in that group composition I am buffing the other DD's with major slayer, something I usually don't do except when the other players are equally skilled or better and we play for a high score or fast time. Siroria is a good alternative if you can play the siroria game but remember if u lose those juicy stacks you might aswell have used falsegod. I highly suggest you don't run newmoon acolyte aka rip sustain acolyte. It really messes with your resources and the templar sustain is not the best as it is. I know there's other sets being used and recommended and each to their own.but i truly feel like your potential is limited by some of these sets. But I understand not everyone wants to play what everyone else is playing. Cheers and have a good one.
