Our February 2020 meeting was held just one day before Valentine's Day, so we couldn't resist learning to play and sing a song all about love -- an uplifting, classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David tune "What the World Needs Now Is Love." Jackie DeShannon was the first to have a hit with it, in 1965. It's a lovely song that has been recorded by a number of famous singers, topped charts around the globe, and has been featured in films.
