Here are 5 #JazzFusion 251 lines of mine in the key of C using exclusively 2-1 #ArpeggiosGuitar concept. The 2-1 arpeggios combine #LegatoGuitar #HybridPicking and #Sweeping technique and can be apply to any scale like #MajorScale and #PentatonicMinorScale as in these examples. These lines have been inspired by the great #TimMiller, guitar teacher at Berklee. #Tabs and #BackingTrack included! Here is the chord chart: /:/ Dm11 / G7Alt / CM7#11 / % /:/ Note that I play in these examples exclusively the Db #PentatonicMajorScale (or Bb #PentatonicMinorScale ) on G7alt which is the same as playing a Db7. This is a classic substitution but yet very efficient. On the CM7#11 I’m using the A and E Minor Pentatonic which is the same as playing CM6 and CM9. To enhance the Lydian sound and spot the 11#, I'm using a B Minor Pentatonic. Although you can apply these lines in a solo, the point here is to learn the shapes, to connect the arpeggios smoothly together and to get familiar with their specific sound. The lines are played each twice. First at 140 bpm and then at 100bpm. Tabs are included for better understanding. The Backing Track is at 140 bpm which can be challenging at first. Feel free to slow it down using youtube parameters for smoother practice. ENJOY :)
