Hidden Gems of the South of France: Sanary-sur-Mer and the Île des Embiez

Join us on our trip to France where we travel to some of the hidden gems in the South of France including Sanary-sur-Mer and the Île des Embiez. In Episode 12 of our Eurotrip 2020 series, we feature highlights of our trip around the South of France starting with a visit to the lovely town of Aix-en-Provence. The main highlight here for us was the hike up the Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The views were phenomenal, and a natural wonder not to miss in the Aix-en-Provence area! Afterwards, we head to the sea-side town of Sanary-sur-Mer, located right on the Côte d'Azur, to visit a friend and to finally put up our feet and relax a bit! During our time here, we visit the Île des Embiez, a spectacular place to relax on a beach or to hike around the island. We absolutely loved it! On our last day in Sanary-sur-Mer we went on a dolphin boat cruise in the morning, followed by an afternoon boat cruise to Calanques National Park. We were blown away by the shear beauty and uniqueness of the Calanques and admit it was one of our highlights during our entire visit to the Côte d'Azur!
