EADS PZL-104MA Wilga 2000 / Reg: N31BP Fortuna USA Inc Trustee / Flight: N31BP Departure: Chambéry Savoie (CMF), France Stop 1: Méribel Altiport (MFX), France Stop 2: Courchevel Altiport (CVF), France Stop 3: Megève Altiport (MVV), France Arrival: Chambéry Savoie (CMF), France Date: October 7th, 2023 ----------------------------------------------------- A trip report on Bernard's PZL-104MA Wilga 2000, which is the newest of a long series of Wilga models, bringing us to the three most famous altiports in the French alps. Starting in Chambery first to Méribel, then around the corner to Courchevel and onwards to Megève and finally back to Chambery. Standard operating procedure is first to overfly the altiport and check the wind hose and for traffic. As you can see there was traffic around two of the altiports. Courchevel even had a DHC-7 service in the 80/90ies from Tyrolean Airways. The Wilga is registered in the USA and was built in 2006.
