Electric vehicle batteries are sealed against the elements and are designed to stay intact. But if an electric vehicle is in an accident or is submerged in water, there are some special safety measures you’ll need to take. Cristy Lee is at the Dana Sustainability Center to show you what to look for (and what to do) if an electric vehicle battery does get damaged or has been submerged in water.
