Ruakaka Beach is one of the best surf beaches in Northland, located at the northern tip of 10 kilometres of beautiful white sand. It is also safely enjoyed by swimmers, fishers, kayakers and rafters as it is patrolled by the Ruakaka Surf life saving club. This beach is well suited for families, make sure your family is prepared for the beach conditions specially during summer time. There are heaps of activities and good facilities in this beach such as: ACTIVITIES Canoeing/kayaking Dog walking Horse riding Wind/kite surfing Wind-powered vehicles FACILITIES Boat launching Car parking Playground Public toilets So if your looking for a soft white sand and blue ocean, visit Ruakaka beach all within an hour and 40 minutes drive from Auckland.
