The humility of Christ lies at the very heart of Christmas. His arrival in a manger, the simplicity of His first visitors, and the modest setting of His earthly family all point to a Savior who chose the path of lowliness. These details remind us that the wonder of the incarnation is found not in grandeur, but in servanthood. Christmas teaches us that God does not pursue our status or extravagance. He pursues our hearts. As we reflect this Christmas season, we turn to Christ’s example. He willingly set aside His divine privileges and embraced the form of a servant. In Philippians 2:5–11, Paul urges every believer to walk in the same pattern of humility that Christ Himself displayed. KEY POINTS: 1. Imitate Christ’s Humble SPIRIT (v. 5) 2.
